At least, it was supposed to be, but some clot misread the tape measure and not until the leg went on did he realise his mistake. For now, it's a two-legged bench but solid enough for what I need it for.
The back rests on a shelf of 3x2 and the hinges screw on to a piece of 4x2. The legs swing down and up when lowered / raised.
I realised the tyre machines were only used a couple of times a year, after my initial flurry of use, and the floor space was being wasted, so a lifting bench seemed a reasonable solution - can never have enough bench space, after all.
