That’s your positive endorphins knowing that the way you “think” you’d like to feel is better than the current situationI know for a fact, well proven over 45 years of drinking: beer makes me feel happy for a while, but then makes my life a misery.
Yet every time I get away from it for a while and start feeling normal, positive, human, creative..... I get the feeling that some beer will be good.... and back I go into the rut of self destruction.
Don’t get me wrong I’m the life and soul of a party after a few drinks, but when sober I’m still the same idiot just not as quick to make daft choices
