I have a battery one but want a decent one for getting bigger screws out.Blast from the past them, battery impact/drivers are the thing nowadays, one hand operation, think i have one of those in a blue metal case with 4 bits

Ha, I knew someone would mention them!Yep Teng are very good tools, I have a 1/2" ratchet the I got for my 21st birthday and it's still going strong (it's 31 years old now)
Is this for those mashed up disc mounting screws I saw on your MX5?
Laszer tools are OK as well, subsidery of Komasa tools Japan...
Even though have multiple battery units I still regularly use an impact driver. It the downward force that often makes the difference and you just don't get that with a battery impact, brake disc securing screws are a classic example.
Nah, still a place for them single hit impacts mate, most motorcycle engines i strip down the impact is a necessity as you bury the tip as you hit..battery impacts just ruin heads in a split second i've found.Blast from the past them, battery impact/drivers are the thing nowadays, one hand operation, think i have one of those in a blue metal case with 4 bits
Thank you for the kind offer but it’s actually decent bits I’m after, mine are absolute rubbish.I think ive a couple spare knocking around, doubt they will be branded and probably no bits but you can have one for the cost of the post if your not in a rush
They are just a generic one as far as I am aware. So don't pay anymore for the branding.
Vessel were always the name for these, they still make them. Not sure where now, they used to be Japan.
Koken make their "attack driver", they are made in Japan, and probably the best you can buy, with the price tag to match.
Cheapy ones do the job though, I've an old vessel, wouldn't be without it - it does work in a unique way that stops cam out that battery impacts don't.
