Not the same class but have the exact same issue but worse with jcb digger and bucket forks, you can't see the business end or what its doing unless you open the bucket up (4 in 1) and look through the gap, which doesn't feel right. Throw into that a bouncy lift from big agri tyres and wrecked pallets are the order of the day.I've often found the same, but usually used rented in kit, so never had the opportunity to do anything about it, but I'd stick a camera on the forks and top of the mast myself (probably rechargeable and wireless) and have a screen in the cab.
I'd do the cctv thing using a cheap wireless car reversing camera setup, if I still had anything resembling cab glass to keep it protected from the elements and a working electrical system, for now I'll have to keep peering through the gap carefully.
I borrow the neighbors merlo telehandler from time to time, handy but I would personally prefer a decent rough terrain flt (our yard's not the flattest...)
