Twice as long as from the centre to the end of course!

Off the top of my head are the new ones slightly narrower needing a space if fitted in an older design of the box to be certified as a maintenance-free accessory. Although I might have my numbers wrong and that's all incorrect jibberish.off topic why are the older connectors called 222 and the new ones 221 strange not that it matters
yes you need adapters for 221(these being the newest shape clear ones) in wagoboxesOff the top of my head are the new ones slightly narrower needing a space if fitted in an older design of the box to be certified as a maintenance-free accessory. They don't seem to make their part numbers very logical for identification purposes.
Not sure of the number but the new clear style that accepts up to 6mm are my go-to for temp supplies, also good to put on the end of exposed wires when you have to remove a bit fo kit to replace or service and need to power up the rest of the machine or circuit.
They are one of the best inventions in the electrical industry imho, so quick and neat and no tools really required, long gone are the days of looking for tiny screws in itchy loft insulation or cross threading them in an awkward spot! I've been using them for nearly 10 years and not had 1 failure so far. I would never go back to screw terminal joints for so many reasons! And am very much liking the 6mm ones they are so very useful!!
