Hi all ,
Got problems with Mach3 on my
Swiftcut table , it happens that sometimes , while machine is running , it's necessary to push stop botton , or the emergency one , to prevent a crash o similar . After that , the machine lose completely the X0 Y0 position , and if I push the GO TO ZERO botton , it goes in a wrong position so I need to bring torch manually at the correct point and push again X0 , Y0
After a long research online , seems that it's a bug inside Mach and there is no way to solve it , it seems that if the machine gets stopped while accelerating from point A to point B , the CNC software cannot manage that instant change of speed to motors , and they instantly lose steps ( I've always thought something like that but never been sure , my opinion was all about gantry inertia that cannot be managed by stepper motors and software )
Anyone had this kind of problem ? Seems pretty common with Mach , anyone tried alternative solutions ?
( cut the machine with oxy fuel torch is not an alternative solution ... )
