Had to change a swan neck the other day and as I had a camera with me thought I'd do a bit of a tutorial
Torch is a Binzel MB25AK with the new bits to be fitted
Undo the liner retaining nut and remove liner
Open body by twisting locking ring at bottom amd removing bolt at top
Body opened up
Disconnect trigger wires and slacken swan neck locking nut
Swan neck seperated from cable, remove cable guide from old one...
...and fit to new swan neck
New swan neck fitted and cables re-connected to trigger
Re-assemble torch body, lay harness out straight, insert new liner and cut flush
Remove liner and use tip adapter to gauge length to trim off liner
Dress end of liner on grinder to remove sharp edges to prevent snagging when fitting
Re-fit liner, secure with retaining nut, then fit tip adapter and put into spares rack...
...then wait for production welders to wreck it again!
