Does staying away from pre 2017 models apply to diesel and petrol engines?2020 they had done a revision on the diesel engine by then.
Stay well away from any earlier than 2017 though as love scrapping the engines at around 120k.
They are decent wagons. Don't really rot, only thing with subarus they do not like aftermarket parts.
Stay genuine subaru filters etc and decent quality oils and they last better.
Subaru stopped selling diesels in 2018 in the UK.I’m thinking about getting a 2020ish Subaru Outback.
Does anyone have any first hand experience of them?
If so petrol or diesel?
Mpg?
Reliability?
It was the diesel engines that were deemed time bombs.Does staying away from pre 2017 models apply to diesel and petrol engines?
