I used my cardboard templates to make five different wooden bucks:

I plan on using them to shape the five distinct vertical curves shown in blue:

The issue is I also need to have the patch curve horizontally (green line):

How would I achieve this? Should I shape the outermost blue curve first (vertical)?
Then bend the patch (horizontally) using a curved wire to guide me?
I think the technical term is creating a 'double curvature'
