i have to produce drawings and spec's for a set of roof step over stairways.
I plan on using 'Graepel safe Deck' system for the treads and platform.
It will be galvanised steel.
It will have 'Big Foot' rubber feet ( they will need to adjustable to suit the camber on the roof.
It will have 'Allen key' type fittings and tube for the handrails.
Question is as it will have to be a kit of parts to position on the roof, what would be structurally best and lightest weight design?
I considered the flat plate type, with the Safe Deck and a sub frame below.
As I have not gotten anything galvanised before, what thickness plate.
6 mm, 8 mm ??
Any ideas
