I am trying to fix my 105en, but I am beginning to doubt I can. So I am looking at maybe getting a new mig, Now the UK market seems to a nightmare of machines made in random places with alsorts of various branding (America looks much better, sigh).
Ideally I would like gas, have big bottle regarding already. Stable control able wire feed, low power setting for car body work (0.8 to 1mm steel). A bit more grunt on occasions, but mainly I use to weld an old dolomite. It would also be nice if it didn't weight 10 tonnes.
Now I know I could step up to the really expensive big boys toys, but I can't really justify that. Basically I was wondering if the UK market has a hobby welder better than a Clarke, the wire feed failure has rather dented my faith in them.
I know weld equip sells a GYS welder and this site only sells quality, are there any other brands worth a look?
