The quality of the slabs wouldn't matter when they are covered in 3 inches of screed. They just provide a firm base and load-spreader to pack the frame off.
Screed is just sharp sand mixed with cement. You mix it to a clumping consistency, damp enough so it will hold together when clenched in your hand but not to wet the surface or drip when squeezed - a bit like damp earth when you've dug the garden. I mix it dry then add water and turn it over.
Then you shovel it into your base and scrape it off with a straight edge. Your box-section frame would make ideal rails for this guaranteeing you a nice flat floor. you can trowel it off to give a slightly smoother surface. Paint when fcured to seal the surface and prevent it raising dust.
