Nice, I see you even managed to get the obligatory mug in.
Thanks BillNice work, as ever.
I like that. The only problem is it makes the rest of the house look a bit shabby. In the first picture is this before or after the waxing? With your special wax does it change the look much?
Thanks Arran
Nice work Kent , that house or what I can see of it looks a lot like the house I used to have in Lancaster 12 years ago ... jeff...
Ah yes. I can see the purpose then. Dog would likely get its head wedged in under that.It was simply that the customer has two bulldogs and was scared of them poking thier heads through under the stringer and getting stuck. Couldn't think of anything else as the stairs are totally random
As soon as a sketched it out with the infill scrolls on my pad they wanted it! I have to say I am not big on scrolls though they have a place.
As I suspected I might need alter the fit up on site I used 25 x 5 as the stringer is 30 solid. If I had a consistent step to work with I might have gone for something like 1/2 " bar scrolls but non the less it works well in situe in the flesh as is and client is very happy indeed
I se lots of dusting being the order of the day - as long as the customer doesn't expect you back for that on a regular basis.
