getting dicey if you ask me ..not just the temp its the dew point where moisture wont go away
But surely if the air and car is kept warm moisture would not be a problem would it?
Sorry it does sound a bit confusing. Basically ive got an infrared heater which i can heat the panels up with before spraying(yes i should have mentioned that), but i don't have a heater that i can leave on through the night to keep the temp above 15c which the epoxy requires. In steveo's reply he said, * its not just the temp its the dew point*
. I mistakenly thought that steveo was saying that even if i could keep the temperature up that i would still have a problem with dew point, hence my reply.
I wouldn't recommend you do either, but because i will be spraying epoxy it would be the only way to make sure theres no curing problems, right? obviously i would have to find a safe way of doing it and it would only be a one off thing, i wouldn't go heating my garage up any other time through the nightI don't leave the heating on all night in my workshop !!!
I do have a cheap thermometer which lately reads around 13c. Garage is well insulated and does hold heat pretty wellWhat kind of construction is your garage, have you got a thermometer in there so you can actually see what temp it is you might just be surprised how warm it is, I have been using one of manor paints epoxy and that states 'must not be used under 10c' was 18 in the garage even though it was much colder outside. I have used those oil filled rads inside the vans before now to up the temp a bit.
