Hi all,
I am about to shot blast then paint some old cast iron radiators. I don't do much paint spraying so was just wondering what primers etc. I should be using!
I will be using cellulose based paint and was thinking 1 coat of etch primer then 2 coats of high build primer then 2 coats of top coat colour. Does this seem like a bit of an overkill for radiators? Is an etch primer absolutly necessary as the cast iron will be quiet rough after blasting?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
