i reckon this is the best place to ask. A guy in work wanted to know if i could source a tool for him.
he called it a sprung screw driver, but it could be called anything.
basically it is a straight shaft with a slot in the end. The slit is squeezed together and inserted into the head of a screw, then when released it holds the screw due to spring tension in the driver so you can get the screw started in tight spaces where a normal driver might cam out or the screw might lean off centre etc.
anyone heard of this and if so where can he get one. He said his father had one when he worked for the coal board but it was lost years ago
