Hi Guys
I am looking to buy my first MIG welder to work on my Land Rover.
This means I'll be doing both regular chassis welding along with thin/tricky aluminium interior/exterior bodywork aswell - notably the dreaded bulkhead corner repairs - which I hear are great fun!
Thats the twist by the way...
I'd like a welder which would be easily upgraded to use larger gas bottles and it has to be able to run off a standard domestic electric supply.
Having read alot of posts on here, I am leaning towards a dual purpose gas/gasless Clarke machine, either the 130EN or 160EN.
It'd be great to hear which one you guys would recommend as they are a pretty similar price and I am concerned with getting the right machine for the job - but I don't want to outgrow anything either.
And if weldequip is around, please feel free to PM me with a nice price!
Many thanks.
