Slightly at a tangent, but I'm doing a hnd in engineering at the moment, and at a recent event we went to, a few of the guest speakers from industry stated that more and more they are looking for multi skilled engineers, I.e cross trained in mech and elec. etc so it may be worth while considering a driven version.At the moment he wants it totally mechanical as he is looking for a mechanical apprenticeship / degree
The construction of it would satisfy the mech side anyways. What would be perfect would be to couple it all up with an arduino or similar to give things like preset heights
