One of my current jobs is to half rewire this 2010 truck with more lights than you can shake a stick at.
I cannot get my head around a slight issue with some relays, what he wants is when you you flash the headlamps the high beams come on plus the amber beacons, this is controllled by a three way switch, position 1 off, pos 2 high beams only, pos 3 high beams plus beacons, how can I make it so the beacons on their own dedicated switch do not also back feed and switc the high beams on?
I think i have done logic things with relays before, but it was over 20 years ago.
I am struggling with the original guys wiring, plus it has 13 years of real hack jobs in there, one smart alec wired all the sideslights through one 10 amp fuse, that is about 50 lights, which of course burnt the fuse board out,
All the lights are now led, so power consumption is significantly lower than the previous set up.
Pics of said current wiring, space is going to be a real issue!
