Hey!
So i'w just started to weld PE and i'm having a hard time to get the weld to stay on the back side as it falls down i'm getting a feeling that its to hot but then i don't want to go much lower as i'm afraid that i wont get the proper heat to burn in to the material, welding after ss-en 5817.
Using Esab 48.00 2.5 at around 75A AC + (tryed AC minus as my wps specified it)
380v Esab machine.
12mm standard 235 steel, 60 degree, around 2.5mm root gap and about 3mm root gap at the end point same for the root face. have to be on a 300mm long plate.
Love any help and tips i can get about angle on the rod, length on the arc short long, root gap, root face and so on.
