I will soon be rivetting the ali sides onto my trailer along with mudguards etc. In total that will be over 400 rivets. 6.25mm or 1/4". I have a nice air rivet gun so easy job I thought....
BUT
Now I have realised that I want the inside of the trailer nice and smooth. I don't fancy the look of the wrong end of the rivet on the outside either so what to do?
I thought of using solid aluminium rivets but have never tried them before. After watching YouTube videos it doesn't look too bad and gives a nice finish.
Can you use a normal air hammer/chisel gun for this?
Would a sealed end pop rivet look silly on the outside?
