I've been playing with a steering shaft, all was going well till I inadvertently made it too short, I'd joined 2 different ends, one is a tube and other is a solid shaft, I'd made the one go inside the other, welded and then straightened it with help, then realising it was too short added a slip joint to the in middle to make it longer, but I'm not happy with it being safe enough, so my dilemma does anyone on here have what it takes to make/cut/ edm a new shaft, I have some 20mm bright bar and need the 2 different splines putting on either end per picture, or do you know of a company who can do it for beer tokens preferably,, I'm willing to post or whatever, just needs to be right, safety vs cost
Shaft is 72cm long total and is 18mm, at its widest,
Obi wan your my only hope
