im building a smoker where the fire box will be constructed of 3mm material and the main smoke chamber of thin 0.8mm drum.
I need to make a connection between the two to allow the smoke into the smoke chamber. While I can have a go at welding pipe on the thicker stuff I won't be able connect any thick pipe to the thin metal of the smoke box
I'm thinking of some sort of tank connector that can be welded onto the thick stuff and secured with some type of flange but on the thin side.
Can anyone recommend something similar in say 2 or 3 inch diameter or any other solution that might work
