hi any one have any experience with sip 25034 t140w gas mig welder. any other suggestions if no good budget around £300 diy welding land rovers so will get used often thanks.
Alright I go along with that, Landrovers owners on here usually get the recomendation the Clarke 160tm is the one to go for , runns from a 16amp plug (read good 13amp plug
at most settings needed for LR work even chassis thickness no probs!)
Best with argon mix gas, (get a proper Y size bottle You'll need it)
Torch lead is a bit short for some jobs, but the machine is not So Big to lug around.
Usually available for around £300 or so,
I think you'll find a few owners of 160's on here and most of us have landys too
BTW welcome
NB sip's have many probs IMHO see many threads in this fourum....
Clarke. The 130 amp models are a great starting point, less powerful and you will outgrow it quite quickly. Definitely go with the gas option, and budget for a pproper sized bottle and regulator, it will pay for itself in next to no time over the cost of disposable bottles.
