Hi all. I'm in the process of doing two of the mentioned mods on the Sip. I have completed the Euro torch and I have the parts arriving tomorrow for the separate wire feed transformer. However I noticed when doing the Euro torch that my sip has the input for the 240v the opposite way round. So in all the guides the live feed comes from the terminal marked R (the bottom of the 3 on the control board) and the Neutral from the top terminal marked T. In mine it's the other way round. I doubt it matters much given its AC and its been like this since I bought it over 14 years ago. But my question is should I swap the live and Neutral input around so its the same as everyone elses seems to be? Should that cause any issues? Just want to be sure before I start on the additional transformer and bridge mod as with mine being the opposite way round to everyone elses I have to remember not to follow the guide to the letter. If I did then I'd have my live and neutral the wrong way round on the transformer input. I'm not even sure if that would make a difference (maybe make the dc from the bridge the opposite polarity??)
Just seems odd in some ways that it was like that to begin with
Thanks for any input.
