Im sure the answer is in a thread somwhere, but there are so many that i cant locate it.
The 'schematics' dont really show whats happening on the pcb, just how things are connected to it (ive not got the welder in front of me at present) so -
Im wondering how the wire feed control works?
Ive got an entirely seperate, regulated, power supply, whos on-board trimmer adjusts the output from about 22v, up to 28v.
...but i suspect, without trying it, that this will be too fast to connect directly to the motor, right? As in i would by-pass the whole control circuit (apart from the on/off) and just bring the power supply's trimmer out to a pot on the front panel.
I cant even find the thread where someone put a volt meeter on the front panel - i know its there, but im having limited luck locating anything tonight!
