Today I bought a Regulator from MachineMart to convert my Clarke 90EN Gasless Welder into a Gassed type.
The Regulator they gave me only has one gauge and I tried it on my Pure Argon Supply for my TIG Welder to test it out, but it only seems to show the contents of the cylinder.
It seemed to weld pretty good on the Pure Argon, even though I have never MIG Welded before (I taught myself to TIG Weld a couple of Years ago)
My TIG Regulator has a side gauge with a Ball that floats in a Tube (Don't know what it's called) to set the Flow Rate.
Do I need to exchange the Regulator for the twin Gauge one, of can I add a Flow Meter to it???
I will be using it with a 'Y' Size Cylinder of Argoshield Light from BOC.... I think
I have set it up as a Gas Type so that I can weld thin Mild Steel 1-3mm Thick, is Argoshield Light the correct gas to go for that?
Thanks
Andy
