Thats not bad Gareth but thats not heavy, the OP is on about a drill thats probably a lot more than 20kg by the time its crated. I crated two v8 engines, a huth bender with all the tooling and a transaxle then sent it overland/shipping. That was just under a ton and cost me £300 door to door, thats a lot cheaper per kilo than air freight. Bob
Just over 20 years ago when I worked for Wordsworth Holdings in Grantham and I was the Sanderson Teleporter senior service supervisor the guy who sat on the desk island next to me fell and broke his leg in the stock yard so I was seconded to his job whilst still doing mine. He was the Aveling Barford sales expeditor and was responsible for shipping around the world Rigid dumpers to 65 tons, ADT's to 28 tons, road rollers to 9 tons and Motor graders to 21 tons. On my first day in that job I notoriously air freighted a 21 ton X 11 mtre ASG 21 Motor grader to Israel and a Sanderson Teleporter TL7 (7 tons) to Hong Kong complete with 56 cu/ft bucket, 50 cu/ft push off muck fork, 1 cu/mtr 4-in1 bucket and a pair of 42" pallet forks.
