HI,
Noobie here (first post)
Having problems welding with my 120E (I bought it new god only knows how long ago), thought that I'd ask what amps etc it has so I can use the settings calculator on the Tutorial page.
BTW the problem is leaky welds... I've been welding up a homemade 4-1 exhaust collector, and Can't seem to make it completely airtight as some of the welds seem to be 'leaky' (tested it underwater!!) And HATE the idea of covering it all with exhaust paste (which is cheating and ugly)
The 4 pipes going in are from an exhaust supplier and may be aluminised, the collector I made from some steel I found in the garage....
My welder.: Clarke 120E
Material: 16 or 18swg "steel"
Gas: Argoshileld light (from memory)
gas flow: 10L/min (according to BOC one dial regulator)
Please help get my V8 back on the road!!
Regards
Jonathan
