Well, I've not used one, so not really qualified to say, but quite a few folk on the forum have them, and seem to be quite happy with them.
What's the lowest setting it goes down to - it should say on that data plate, bit I can't make out the writing from the photo?
I'm assuming it goes down to about the 30A mark, so should be ok for car bodywork, but as with any welder, you've got to be careful not to blow through, as it's so thin.
I'd guess that maybe someone has either attempted to fit a euro-torch, as I can't see any other reason for those holes spaced at 120 degrees. Having said that, maybe they took it off before selling it to you! Probably not, though - as it would be a bit of a hassle, not to mention a bit unkind, too!
Spares are very easy to get once you have a euro-torch, but the standard ones probably aren't too hard to find, either.
Does it feed wire reasonably smoothly? That's usually the main problem with erratic migs. If it seems smooth enough and the amps go down quite low, you shouldn't really have too much, or even any trouble.
All the Best,
CJ
