I've had my Clarke 160EN for a few years now and only ever used it on a 'gasless' setup, it's about time I got the other bit's and bobs to run it on gas. I have one of Machine Marts 'No Vat' tickets for this Sunday coming so have been looking through their catalog at the accessories list, would like to be able to weld any type of material that I may come across from time to time.
Questions:
Bottle regulator (small gas bottle). I'm guessing that this is the one for the small bottles that sit on the back of the machine? it's the only reg in the book and I guess it don't have a built in flow meter, should I really be looking for one?
60Ltr/110Ltr. I'm guessing that the 110Ltr is still a small disposable type bottle that fit's on the back of machine?
Argon gas. This along with the wire (which only seems to come in mini spool size) is a must for aluminium/stainless.
Co2/Argon mix. Should I just buy the Co2/Argon mix bottle instead of a pure
Co2 bottle as well? Is the 'mix' a better option for mild steel use too?
