I'm replacing the feet on our kitchen stools with wood blocks and felt pads to stop scratching the floor. I have shaped the new feet to sit partially in the stool legs which are metal and tapered, and was thinking about using rubber hose a nut and bolt and a few washers to fit. Sort of a reverse to what happens in electrical cable glands, was thinking fuel hose but does anyone know if the cord running through will stop the walls from bulging enough
