At a loss were to put this question, so mods feel free to move(not that you need my say so lol )
Ok I have had a roll cage made, well bend would be a better word.
its on a triumph spitfire and theres not much you can do but have a bent tube and a couple of stright tubes leading off to the tops of the wheel arches (inside the car)
Ok so I want to Add a stright tube, it will fit in the n shaped main tube, and will end up making the n look more like a letter A
(hope you can follow) look at the letters, from this n to this A
the added bar is so I can mount a set of harness on.
my question is this, what size and wall thickness tube do I use, and of what quality.
god forbid the car ever has a front ender, there could be two peoples weight trying to bend the stright tube
Cant remember the guys name, but there is a member on our forum, who lives not far from me in Cheshant.
I am prity sure he makes roll cages as part of what he does,
maybe he could advise me :-)
