I have an oven that I got maybe 25 years ago and it never had seals on the doors. That was fine at the time as I had a generator for my 3 phase power for the workshop so having the oven on didn't really make any difference and the heat escaping didn't really matter either.
In the workshop I am now in I have mains power so I have not used the oven for 15 years (apart from storage) due to the fact it would cost quite a bit to run when all the heat was seeping out, so now I am on the lookout for a place to get the seals.
I am not sure of the make as I can't find any data plate or other markings but have posted a few pics below.
To me it looks like the seals may have just been some sort of flat woven material and glued in place as there seems to be remnants of glue with the impressions of the seal in it.
Anyone recognise the oven make or know where I could get seals and also would they have just been glued on as I suspect?
Sorry for the poor quality pics but it is sitting under the plasma table and not easy to get to at the moment.
