Hi there. I'm a blacksmith on skye and have recently got an Rtec p30c. I needed this to use on a pantograph for cutting parts that will be reforged for art pieces and wanted to fit a foot switch leaving the gun plug redundant. Trouble is (and knowing before hand how the gun was wired.)...I contacted Rtec to get a replacement control line plug which is a four pin din. I know that this is wired up with the pins acting as pairs and are shorted by the gun switch to operate the relays in the machine for the air valve and current to the gun. Rtec says that this machine cannot be used with a foot switch But I cant see that this is true. I cannot identify the plug so that this can be bought as a after market unit. Has anyone else gone down this path. or has advice so that I don't have to canabalise a whole replacement gun to get what i need to do. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
