Hi all,
I seem to recall from my schooldays (45 years or so ago!) that when turning wood we used upcycled (that wasn't a thing then! BTW) metal working files rather than chisels. The ends had been ground to suitable shapes and seemed to do the job quite well.
This got me to thinking, is the metal that they are made from suitable for turning into metal cutting lathe tools?
Regards,
Richard.
