Hi, can anyone help with some info on respirators?
I'm looking at half face respirator masks on ScrewFix, Axminster etc and seeing that most are one piece whilst relatively few are a body which you can change the cartridges on.
Can anyone shed some light on the lifespan of the one piece masks AND/OR the lifespan of replacement filters/cartridges for the body only masks?
Would I be right in thinking that the one piece masks are more aimed at the bigger painter/decorator markets who are more worried about solvent fumes than dust, and that I should probably be looking at the body only type and buying the cartridge type suited to my needs to get the best protection?
If anyone could recommend a good fitting mask that won't let hot air escape and fog up my goggles that'd be sooper smashin' great. I don't want to spend money unnecessarily but I'm not on a tight budget. Cheers
