I had a bolt that had seized into a suspension arm, and when there isn't enough clearance to use a hammer (as there is a sump in the way) I decided to press it out. I raided the scrap bin and came up with this. the big hole is so the head of the seized bolt can go through the Channel, when it is pushed out by the bolt in the middle.
and in use, pressing the bolt out
now if that didn't shift it my next option would have been to cut the suspension mountings on the black lines, remove the suspension arm and the weld the mounting back together.
others have said the would either try and cut the bolt (and bush sleeve) while still on the car, or to cut the suspension arm up. so it goes to show there is more than one way to skin a cat, although some will be quicker / better than others.
