Been approached to make a new rear window for a JD 2140 tractor, it’s been shattered a few times and bent and straightened a few times too.
Bottom length is 22mm
LHS bottom to top is 26mm
LHS to RHS top is 26mm
RHS top to bottom is 12mm
RHS right to middle is 16mm
Middle to bottom is 12mm
Had thought about using a few different flavours of box section and stitching them together, or angle, or even a combination of both.
However, I thought I would throw it open to the collective to see what ideas you lovely lot can come up with.
Whatever the solution, I need around 4500mm linear length to make the complete frame, then there’s a couple of hinges to add on and some pegs for gas struts to hold it open. Oh, and a handle to close.
Have I missed an obvious solution?
