It may be just dirt, but the other side looks like there might be the start of a crack in the same place.

Cracking job (pardon the pun!)got the conrod repaired today turned a temp pin to keep the fork in line . used the flamefast torch to get the heat up and used the oxyacetylene torch at the same time to braze it gave it a quick shotblast and a coat of 2k etch primer and its good to go post it back on Monday

...turning off behind this a fair depth (between the red lines 0.200 so 0.400 off OD) to enable me to shrink/loctite an oversized sleeve.
