Hi all - I have a Rally Mig 160 which has had VERY little use from new. It's almost in mint condition! It's the same basic welder as supplied by Weldimpex from Hungary and also Colortonic in Europe. Unfortunately while doing a short stretch of weld on an old car chassis last week it stopped. The fan is still running but the torch will not feed wire, activate the gas solenoid or strike an arc. I've tested the torch with a new one and still nothing. All fuses are good. Have metered the torch circuit right back to the main pcb and it is switching correctly. Pretty certain this is a fault with something PCB related. There is a small secondary pcb attached to the 24v relay on this welder and I read on this site that there is a feature on the board that can be bypassed to restore the welder. Does anyone know about this feature / workaround?? Failing that can anyone recommend a welder repair service in Gloucester area..???
Cheers hope you can help.
