Oh, I dunno. At the moment I'm re-learning a lot of stuff I forgot about valve sets, but I'm nowhere near competent enough to take a stab at something I've no familiarity with at all. That set is strange to me and I know nothing about it.
Right now, I'm at Sets 3 Repairs 0
Bought a lovely old Pam TR30 which actually crackles and works after a fashion, but put that on the back of the pile until I get more time in on sets which are much more commonly covered on the vintage radio forum.
To that end I acquired a Fenman II (not a cheep out of it) and a Hacker Mayflower II which was working fine, but after a short time of operation the vital THAT Capacitor (term beloved of vintageradio forum) blew up. Serves me right for not changing it on sight, as said above.
Anyway, will be practicing on these before I venture any opinions on anything else.
if you cant do it im way over my know how
