havent realy looked to see what the diffrence is. apart from using the repair strip ones . if thats the case which one would be the best to buy . general concensus on the forumwhich one the there are loads of different ones in that link
car or vanfor use on car or pedal bike?
the mushroom type would need the tire removing 1st though wouldnt it ??Use them on anything agricultural as they're brilliant, like said above, i have stuck loads in a slit to fill it to get back to the yard, a mate i know uses them on cars with no problems, would rather use a mushroom plug tbh as i know they're bombproof.

That's most Landrovers driving with illegal tyres then.same as inner tubes now outlawed in tubeless tyres
Common in Europe and Australia, my brother has seen people get home by sticking 5-6 of them in a hole in the outback.
the mushroom plugs fitted from the inside or a fully vulcanised repair are the only legal methods of repair
all others are classed as temporary repairs
the rubber string wire type that you put in from the outside was outlawed well over 15 years ago caused too many accidents
same as inner tubes now outlawed in tubeless tyres again caused blowouts
Very popular fix in the mid sixties,I had a couple of kits made by Dunlop,I still have one kit but no rubber plugs or solution,Really easy fix, position the wheel so that you can get at the leak, (1)Pull out the nail etc (2) Probe hole with blunt ended needle.(3) clean hole with spiral type rasp supplied (4) cut length of rubber plug and insert into open sided needle inserter tool,(5)Dip into solution and insert into nail hole etc.(6) pull out tool leaving about 1/2" proud of the tyre, leave a few minutes and trim proud rubber down to about 3mm,never had one fail and punctures seemed to happen far more often back then,
Whole job took about 2mins, certainly faster than it's taken me to type this,
