Hi, got an issue with a tec arc 211 MIG.
I have it wired on a dedicated supply with a C20 mcb - from reading, i think this should be fine to use on higher power.
It can weld on full power but sometimes when im tacking something up as soon as I pull the trigger it will trip the MCB, it will do this whether the welding wire is touching the metal or not touching....as it sometimes does it when the trigger is pulled without the wire touching the metal makes me think it isnt an electrical supply problem as no current is being drawn at that time??
It hasnt happened on low power settings though.
Could it be a problem within the trigger itself?
Any advice gratefully received.
