hii,
I am a hobbyist welder.. don't have much knowledge on inverter type of welding.. also would like to try on TIG or WIG (german call that).
Recently i moved and my own arc welder broken.. hence i went down on a very tight budget to purchase a cheap welder which i thought is a good choice because i got the combination of both arc and tig.
i heard that inverter welder are more efficient in term of power consumption, hence i jumped in and grab this cheapo.

after i heard you guys talked about contactless welding torch, then only i realize it is a mistake.
I just got the welder, have not yet got chance to try it out.
i am not good in German language that's why i don't know the specs and the actual meaning of this welder.
although i have already purchased it, but still, can someone clarify the meaning behind the specs of this welder ?
and which country is this from ?

Modell: Pro Stick-135 STL
voltage: 230 Volt, 1-Phase
??? Eingangsstrom eff./max.: 16/21A
???Sicherung: 16A
???Leerlaufspannung: 70V
** does it means input power is 16-21A max ?
** if so, why the fuse of it is 16A ? how does it reaches 21A if the fuse only 16A ?
*** what does it meant by idle voltage = 70V ? it is between the welding terminal is 70V if measured by voltmeter ? is that good or no good ?
Isolationsklasse: F
Überspannungsschutz: ja
Kühlung: Ventilator
??? MMA Schweißstrombereich: 15-135A
??? Arbeitsspannung: 20,2-26,4V
??? Hot-Start:
***here MMA welding current ranges from 15 - 135A, it is possible to set the amperage of it ? of automatic ? i am hoping this welder can be power by normal household wall socket.. 240V (german household).
*** and what is this working voltage ?
is that means arc welding voltage only 20 - 26 v
but the current can be up to 15 - 135A ?
***so the dial knob on the machine is to control amperage not volt right ?
*** what is hot-start feature ?
ja

the vendor told me this cheap version dont' have gas control - automatic valve; i must turn the dial knob on the handle to control the gas. well i thought i can easily over come that buy just connect a magnetic control valve myself to the control button. :-( later i realized that it doesnt have a on / off contact button to start tig welding as well; i asked again and the vendor said it is auto start... it is dangerous to use.. just like mig without contact button (as discussed in one of the forum).
