a couple of years ago I bought a Gunson Eezibleed for bleeding the brakes on my car
but when I got it I realised that the brake fluid reservoir holds enough brake fluid on my car to bleed the brake lines, so I used it without any brake fluid in the bottle and it worked fine. I used it connected to a tyre for the air pressure.
I need to bleed the brakes again so tonight made a 1/8bsp to 4mm tail (shown with a 1/8bsp pcl xf adaptor)
this was to connect some hose to a ball valve, so I can just connect the cap to the my air compressor (with the regulator turned to to less than 10psi)
if I thought about this earlier I'd have just used an old brake fluid reservoir cap instead of buying the eezibleed. I just need to be careful I dont empty the cars brake fluid reservoir, but its got to be less messy than using the eezibleed bottle with brake fluid in it. I used a long hose so that the connection to the airline can be on the floor so wont damage the cars paintwork.
