hi,
we have a mistral power washer that likes to blow fuses quite often and when my dad was using it the other day he said he saw sparks coming from the switch, not the 13amp plug but the switch on the power washer. so i took the switch apart and inside there was some cow cake dust (we have the power washer stored by milking parlor feeders its not the ideal place but its handy to have it there) so that might have shorted the switch or something, it does have a waterproof cover over the rocker switch but has a split in it.
anyway so i got a new switch but i couldnt find one like the original one, i'll try and put some photos up, sorry about the **** poor quality.
the old switch was a rowe hankins tr45 and the this new one is a schurter ta45 there both rated at 16 amp but the only difference is the male spade terminal is on no.6 on the old one and no.4 on the new (i've taken the female spade off the one thats different) one, do i have the wrong switch ? or can do i need to swap something over inside?
