Hi there,
I bought an old small stove in France and want to use it to heat my shed. The flue outlet is at the back of the stove and is small (approx 3.5"). I want to step this up to fit currently available Flue pipe (probably 4" or 5").
I am looking to make a T piece with the smaller pipe horizontal pipe (sized to fit the stove outlet) intersecting a larger vertical flue pipe, which in turn will join into a section of double skinned insulated pipe going through the roof.
I was thinking that I would notch the smaller pipe then offer it up to the larger pipe using it as a template for marking the hole to be cut in the larger pipe.
I'm struggling to work out how to accurately mark up the smaller pipe so it will neatly marry up to the larger.
I hope this all makes sense
Cheers
Colin
