My worse nightmare came true yesterday.
My lathe stopped midcut and nothing had moved when i checked connections.
I have been metering out the connections and it does not make sense.
I may be way off beam but i thought 3 phase was 415 between each of the 3 lives and 240 between Neutral and each of the lives.
Well i seem to have 165 600 and 430 between the lives.
There seems to be very little to actually go wrong in the blinkin box but the most likely component is massive..........i do have one other possibility but without a wiring diagram etc i really am stuck.
That little issue is the 4 position switch on the front of the box that i am told is used for balancing the motor to the converter. Via the capacitors.
This has partially broken but has been like it for a while....nothing was near it to hit it and inadvertently move the switch but i am grasping at straws now.
