Hi everyone
I posted a while back in relation to this 300 amp Parweld torch,
http://www.parweld.co.uk/product/pro-grip-max-sb-360a-air-cooled-torch/
I was interested in it because it is basically all I can afford, so today I went
to the local dealer and brought one home.
Took it out to the workshop to connect it up,
did not get that far, as when I uncoiled it I could see the cable
was all marked, full of small dints on the outer cover, dints one would
not even expect on an old torch after many moons of hard work.
I took it back, looked at two more, and eventually settled on the one
with the least dints.
Took it home, and under the lights once again proceeded to uncoil it.
This one turned out to be worse than the first one.
Come Monday it will be going back for a refund.
Three torches in a row, all badly damaged, am putting them down to
seconds, as there is no way any company let them out for sale, none of
the boxes were sealed in any way closed, and none of the torches were
tied up with any kind of cable ties to keep them in shape.
Is this normal Parweld Quality, or is this seller just taking the pi**.
I might take some pictures if I can get my computer to connect to
the camera and email Parweld, I am absolutely disgusted with having to now
drive to the welding supplier for a third time on Monday.
